US Playstation 3 Sales Boost!
Sales of the PS3 has risen by 21% in June. That is a huge bump in sales for the PS3. Sony stated the price cut led to the 135% sale increase. Sony is also looking to drop some serious bombs on the gaming industry as it leads to increase its sales figures figures by even more. The once giant is still trailing the Wii and the Xbox 360 but many analysts still feel that the PS3 will be dominating in a few years once the market has been provided the HD niche and wants to convert over. Lets hope that is the case so that Square Enix can shut up! (see my post on Square’s chatterbox about getting Sony to specialize their marketing).
