Dangerous Dave’s PS3

Okay, lets go back to basics.  I am talking about the system themselves.  My PS3 is going rock solid since launch and I swear I still cant hear it when my volume is turned off (I have heard that I might be hard of hearing from my g/f but I think its selective hearing….yes, I would like a sandwich hun).  Anyhow,  I am specifically talking about the media slots.  I love those things.  They have always come in handy when I want to put pictures on my PS3 and HD screen (and it always impresses the invitees).  I think they were pretty darn important then and will be in the future (unless they make super duper micro mini SD cards which could be in the works lol).  The reason I am talking about it is that the new PS3’s (40 gig) will not carry them and I am a bit disappointed.  I figure since the cost of adding that couldn’t be more than 10 dollars, I don’t see why its not added.  I recall so many times that I transferred some info from my SD card to the PS3 through my cell phone (which also functions as my 4 gig mp3 player).  So Sony, if you are listening bring them back! Or at least, get some that are added post production like the old school multitap ( I know there are a few geeks that still remember the multitap).
