Oh EA Will You Ever Learn?

So I stumble upon this which is an interview with EA from the BBC. Lets provide some excerpts:

“We want an open, standard platform which is much easier than having five which are not compatible,”We definitely don’t want to have [one monopolized] platform.” “You don’t need an Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii – the consumer won’t even realize the platform it is being played on,”

First of all, I think that EA has shown its true colors. EA is lazy lets face facts. When they have issues porting from one system to another due to a lack of development time all that tells me is that they really do not care about the end result of their product. Mind you they are a publishing company that is putting out games which provides them monetary support. Don’t you think that other developers are working hard on their games so that they work right on consoles? I am very irritated at this post because it finally showed me that I was right: EA sucks! I mean quality control, whats that? I think they need to take a spin on this blog. It seems to me that most of their development money initially goes to xbox and they port their games with the provided tools from Sony. That is the only way that I can comprehend why they cant make Skate as fluid as the 360 version. Or perhaps any one of the EA titles that came out in the last two years that were on 30 FPS. Its ridiculous. I don’t see Sega having the same issue? The last time I checked their NBA 2k8 played well on both systems. (PS3 2k8 vs. XBOX 360 2k8) . That has been the case down the bat with Sega; they provide a better product period. Thank you EA for proving to me that you really don’t care about the games that you produce.
