A. NBA 2k8

Why: It is by far the best game of the three basketball games that came out this month. I would tend to agree its not as good as 2k7 but it is a solid basketball game if you are looking to get a basketball game so you are psyched for basketball season!

B. Elder Scrolls IV: Game of the Year Edition

Why: Because it is Elder Scrolls….. and if you are into RPG’s this is one to buy. Even if you already purchased the first one that launched on the PS3, this one also includes the Shivering Isles expansion and the Knights of the Nine expansion. i think the total addition of game-play is 30 hours *which is more than some brand new games that come out playing from end to end*

C. Eye of Judgement
Why: Because its the new Eye toy (called the PlayStation Eye) (I feel so dirty using “I” before product names ever since Apple so I am glad its not the Itoy). If anything, it will give you a chance of video conferencing and once games include it online you can see who you are fragging! Good stuff!

D. Folklore

Why: It has been getting rave reviews by multiple sources. Its an RPG with great graphics. The down parts of the game are load times (and if thats the worst you can say about a game, its definitely “cop”able

E. Guitar Hero 3

Why: it has an ONLINE feature!! If you are into the previous games I know I wont have to worry about you already preordering it. For the newbs to Guitar Hero, it has a sense of accomplishment that you rarely get from games nowadays. I think that was my biggest draw to it. Pick it up and check it out!

F: John Woo Presents: Stranglehold

Why: I have been talking about this game for some time. As long as they fix the sliding aspect of the game its definitely worth the look because it includes the Blu-Ray version of the movie. The fun factor is there for the game (although I suspect it will be short). It makes sense to get the blu-ray movie because it brings down the price of the game to roughly 30-4o bucks which isn’t bad for a new game which is fun to play

There is my “cop”ables for this month!

1. Format the PS3.

2. Reduce the frequency interferences around the controller (take out any cordless phones or run the Playstation 3 on a Ethernet line).

3. Restore system defaults

4. Switch cordless phones from 2.4 to 5.8 gighz

5. Certain games cause it (People have stated Resistance, Fantastic 4, Motorstorm, Warhawk, etc.)

6. Turn off bluetooth on your phone if it close to the Ps3.

7. Keep your controller charged (people state it happens more frequently when the battery power is low. I can personally attest to this one)

8. If you have a microwave close, turn it off or dont use it.

9. Keep your controller plugged in through USB

10. Buy a new PS3 (i know lame) but the bluetooth signal is stronger on the newer PS3’s

11. Wait for a firmware update (some state that a new firmware should fix the issue)

12. Purchase a new sixaxis (some have reported that the newer controllers do not have the issue)

13. Get a different headset (some have reported changing headsets and fixing the disconnect issue)

14.  You are too far from your PS3 (the limit of bluetooth is 16 feet MAX)
