They have cornered the market for the bluray drive and, frankly, have done an excellent job of it. I recently went ahead and got a netflix subscription last week so that I could use the PS3 more extensively. I wish they would get the netflix app that the xbox 360 got but we will see where that goes. If not, there will be SOMEONE who will be able to stream it to my PS3 and thats fine too.

What new players of MGS 4 may not have is information about the previous stories which is, in essence, the meat of the MGS 4 game. So, the makers of MGS figured that out and now have a database that provides ALL of the information from the beginning of the game. It will be on the PSN and will help setup all the crazy questions that people have. Go get ems MGS!

It seems to me that is the only difference between the two games. The 360 one seems a bit brighter and I think that may have distorted the hand and face characteristics a bit. I would say either system would be a great buy and I hope you guys pick it up soon!!

Their reasoning is that eventually, the evolution of gamers will go from the Wii to the PS3 and the PS3 will ultimately win the console wars. The interesting part about it is that they are stating that the ps3 will inevitably slash prices and the blu-ray winning will just cap it as the next system to buy. Overall, people at least are in contentious that the PS3 will do extremely well this year over.

“Editor’s note, January 5, 2008: Because of the recent news that Warner Bros. Entertainment will be exclusively supporting Blu-ray, CNET recommends refraining from purchasing an HD DVD player in the near future. Exclusive support of Warner Bros. Entertainment gives Blu-ray a large advantage in terms of studio backing, leaving only Paramount and Universal as major studios releasing movies exclusively on the HD DVD format. This guide will be overhauled after CES to reflect this and any other news announced at the show. ”

If that doesn’t foretell the end of HD DVD I don’t know what does…
